A mass grave containing the bodies of 17 Peshmergas has been found in the Hawija district of Iraq.

Yasmin Munzer, director of the mass graves department, said: they launched a two-day campaign in Erbil to collect samples from the relatives of Peshmerga martyrs in the Hawija area.

She added that 17 bodies belonging to the Peshmerga martyrs have been found.

She added that other campaigns will be organized in the future, when new graves are excavated, which contain the bodies of Peshmerga martyrs.
