According to a letter from the Sulaimani Court of Appeal, the Sulaimani Court of Investigation/1 will be specialized in hearing cases related to the Journalism Law.

According to the letter, all lawsuits related to journalists will be sent to the Sulaymaniyah Misdemeanor Court/6 for resolution after the completion of the investigation stages.
