He added the recent waves of rains have benefited farmers and the agricultural sector so that farmers have irrigated their agricultural land the least times.

He added that due to the rains, we have been able to absorb 100 million cubic meters of water in our dams, and another 200 million cubic meters have been used from Lake Thartar and several other sources.

A wave of heavy rains has hit different parts of Iraq in recent days, causing floods in some cities.
