Mustafa Jabar Sanad, a member of the Iraqi parliament, said: he has filed a lawsuit against Dilshad Mustafa Barzani, the Kurdistan Regional Government's representative in Germany, for participating in a ceremony at the Israeli embassy in Germany.

According to an official letter sent by Mustafa Jabar Sanad to the prosecutor's office on Friday, number (99) and posted on his Facebook page, it says: "We are showing a CD and an electronic link of Dilshad Mustafa Mohammed Barzani, the Kurdistan Regional Government's representative in Germany, who attended the Newroz celebrations at the Israeli Embassy in Berlin."

The member of the Iraqi Parliament said: "Since this act constitutes the crime of normalizing relations with the Zionist entity and is guilty, it should be punished under the Normalization of Relations with Israel Law No. 1 of 2022".

The letter states: "Please review it and refer it to the relevant courts to take legal action against the above.
