On Saturday 22/3/2025, Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), in the presence of Mustafa Abdullah, head of the KIU faction in the Kurdistan Parliament, received Sardar Abdullah, writer, politician, and member of the former member of the Iraqi parliament.

The meeting focused on the political situation in Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and the region and stressed that the Kurdistan political leadership should prepare itself for the possible changes in the region in the future and take advantage of the mistakes of the past,
to prevent the unwanted events of the past that have occurred in the legitimate cause of our people from being repeated, the lion's share of the preparations fall to the parties in power.

At the end of the meeting, the Secretary-General of the KIU praised Sardar Abdullah for his visit to West Kurdistan in order to serve the legitimate Kurdish cause in the West.
