The Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of Kurdistan Region says that the final decision on the Kurdistan Parliamentary elections will be made and a meeting will be held this week.

Daban Shadala, Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of Kurdistan Region, said: The Kurdistan Region political parties will hold a meeting this week to make the final decision on the elections.

He said: The KDP is a major party in the region and it is difficult to hold elections without it, but the PUK insists on holding elections.
