A spokesman of the Ministry of Transportation of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq said "The rain wave will continue until next Monday.

Dylan Rashad, spokesman of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), told a press conference today that "The wave of rainfall that has covered the Kurdistan Region will continue until next Monday 06-05-2024.

"The effect of the rain wave will start weakly on Tuesday and end next Monday", 06-05-2024," he said.

"The heavy rains will fall on Thursday and Friday, 2 and 3-5-2024," he said.

"The effect of the dust that covered the Kurdistan Region has been reduced due to the rain," he said.

"It is expected that the rainfall will be higher in Halabja, Kirkuk and Raperin provinces than in other cities in the Kurdistan Region," he said.
