The Deputy Commander of Iraqi Joint Operations, Qais Khalaf Mohammedawi, confirmed the readiness of the Iraqi security forces to fight the terrorists of ISIS.

Qais Khalaf Mohammedawi met with NATO Chief of Staff Nicola Pizzanti and Italian Air Force Commander Paolo Castelli in Baghdad, the Iraqi Joint Operations Command said in a statement.

The meeting discussed the developments in the fight against ISIL terrorists, as well as the readiness and ability of Iraqi forces to confront ISIL terrorists, the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Qais Khalaf Mohammedawi stressed that the Iraqi security forces are ready to confront ISIL terrorists and maintain the security and stability of the country.

The two sides also discussed coordination on security, capacity building of security forces and exchange of intelligence information.
