Kurdistan Region Presidency said Nechirvan Barzani, the Kurdistan Region President to visit Tehran at the official invitation.

The Kurdistan Region Presidency announced on Sunday, May 5, 2024, that Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq visit Tehran at the official invitation of the Islamic Republic of Iran accompanied by a delegation consisting of Vice President and Interior Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government and a number of Government officials.

During his visit, Barzani will meet with senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran to discuss the development of relations between Iran and Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and joint cooperation between them.

They will also discuss developments in the region in general.
