Qassem al-Araaji said Iraq still needs the support of the international community to achieve stability and sustainable development.

Iraqi National Security Advisor Qassim al-Araaji said Thursday "Iraq's message to the international community is a message of assurance that our people have overcome the challenges of violence and terrorism and are now moving towards peace and development".

"We are committed to supporting the economy, development, education and other areas related to the future of Iraqis so that crises can be transformed into opportunities for success," he said.

He said his country still needs the support of the international community to improve security, and achieve stability and sustainable development.
