A delegation from the Kurdistan Region Presidency will arrive in Baghdad today.

This afternoon, Saturday, April 27, Nechirvan Barzani, the Kurdistan Region President, arrived in Baghdad.

The Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani to discuss issues related to the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, including salaries and the attack on the Kormor gas field last night.

Nechirvan Barzani will also attend a meeting of the ruling coalition, where part of the meeting will be devoted to discussing the election of the speaker of the Iraqi parliament, which has remained vacant since November 11, 2023, the issue of electing the speaker of parliament, which is the Sunni share, will be resolved soon.
