The Iraqi High Electoral Commission extended the deadline for submitting candidates for the upcoming Kurdistan Parliamentary elections.

The Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission extended the deadline for registration of candidates and political parties for the Kurdistan parliamentary elections until 12 tonight.

Earlier, The Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission extended the deadline for submitting candidates for the sixth round of Kurdistan parliamentary elections from March 22 until the end of official work.

The deadline was extended until 12 tonight, according to the decree of the Presidency of Kurdistan Region the parliamentary elections will be held on June 10, 2024.
