According to 2024 statistics, Iraq ranks 85th in the world in terms of cost of living.
Iraq ranks 85th out of 132 countries in terms of cost of living by 2024, and eighth in the Arab world, behind Qatar, the UAE, Lebanon, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
Regarding the cost of rent, Iraq ranked 81st in the world, while it ranked 89th in food costs, 75th in restaurant prices, and 68th in shopping.
