Secretary-General of KIU said: The oppressors may have escaped here, but they will certainly not escape the punishment of God's court.

Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), wrote in a message on X Social Network: Thirty-six years ago, the Ba'ath regime committed genocide against our oppressed people in many parts of this country.

"The oppressors may have escaped here, but they will not escape the punishment of God's court," he said.

"The oppressed may have been humiliated here, but they certainly have a high position with God. Peace be upon the martyrs, shame on all those involved in this crime, and greetings to the families of these victims," he wrote.
