Iraqi government spokesman says: Iraq has signed an agreement with the United States to buy 41 military aircraft.
Iraqi government spokesman Bassem Awadi told reporters: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani signed a deal to buy 41 military aircraft from the US.
"Some of these aircraft will be paid by Iraq and some of them will be given as gifts by the United States. The aircraft will be delivered to Iraq within a few months and a special production line will be opened for Iraq," he said.
