A newspaper: Erdogan has returned to Ankara with the consent of Baghdad and Erbil

A London newspaper reveals that "Erdogan has returned to Ankara with the consent of Baghdad and Erbil and the tasks of the Iraqi army and Peshmerga have been determined to assist the Turkish army.

London's Al-Arabiya Al-Jadeed newspaper reported, "The statements of Iraqi officials in Baghdad and Erbil are similar, that the Iraqi government has authorized Turkey to conduct a military operation in the Kurdistan Region to a depth of 40 kilometers, to attack PKK headquarters in unpopulated areas, Baghdad and Erbil have agreed on this.”

Three Iraqi sources in Baghdad and Erbil said "Erdogan has returned to Ankara with Iraq's permission to conduct his military operation in the Kurdistan Region,".

It is also noted that "The areas where Turkey is going to conduct military operations will be the mountains of Gara, Qandil, Syedakan, Soran, Said Sadiq, Kani Masi, Zab, Zakho and Amedi, which PKK has occupied, or controlled, areas and does not allow the Peshmerga and the Iraqi army to enter.”

Under the new agreement, Iraq will receive water shares from both the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and Turkey will assist Iraq in introducing new irrigation techniques, as well as moving towards various trade, economic, and security agreements, including information exchange and extradition.

The agreements between Iraq and Turkey, supported by the Coordination Framework Forces, are part of Sudani's government's vision to promote domestic interests above all other issues, most notably the water issue, which Ankara has made the key to all other issues with Iraq.

For its part, a Turkish source said: "Iraq and Turkey have agreed to coordinate military operations against the PKK in northern Iraq through a joint committee and operations room between the Turkish army, the Iraqi government, its security forces, the Erbil government, and its military forces. With the aim of reaching a peaceful zone of about (40) kilometers.

The newspaper reported: "The aim of the operations is to control certain areas and borders with Syria, to prevent the movement of PKK members, the task is expected to be carried out by forces affiliated with the Iraqi government, the Erbil government forces are preventing the movement of PKK members to other areas and are providing intelligence and information exchange."
