The head of the Kurdistan Region's Media and Information Department, Jutiar Adel, called on Tuesday, on the federal government to take decisive steps to stop the attacks on the Khor Mor Gas field.

Adel said in a statement, “The attacks on the Khor Mor field have been repeated during the past periods, which constitute a direct threat to the region, and immediate steps must be taken to prevent the recurrence of such attacks,” stressing “the need for the federal government to take decisive steps to control the armed groups that are out of control of the law"

He expressed the Kurdistan Regional Government's readiness to coordinate with Baghdad to put an end to these attacks.
