Mohammed Shia Sudani said it is important to hold the Kurdistan parliamentary elections by political agreement and all parties and components in the region to participate in the process.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani's press office said Tuesday, April 30, Sudani received Omar Ahmad, Chairman of the Iraqi Independent High Election Commission (IHEC).

The meeting discussed the measures taken by the commission to hold the Kurdistan parliamentary elections.

Sudani stressed the importance of holding the Kurdistan parliamentary elections by political agreement and all parties and components in the region to participate in the process, to achieve the principle of justice and equality.
