Peshmerga forces thwart an ISIS attack in Khanaqin
Security sources reported, on Monday, the targeting of Peshmerga forces in Khanaqin had been foiled.
The sources said; The Peshmerga forces detected with thermal cameras a terrorist group from ISIS attempted to attack a security point belonging to the Third Brigade of the Peshmerga near the village of "Al-Dakat" northwest of Khanaqin.
Added, "The attack did not result in injuries or casualties among the Peshmerga."
