The Iraqi government is preparing to resume oil exports from Kirkuk through the Kirkuk-Jayhan oil pipeline by the end of this month.
Bassem Mohammed, deputy oil minister for export affairs, told Reuters that most of the repairs to the pipeline, which has been out of order since 2014, had been completed, as well as pumping stations and several warehouses.
The first phase of the pipeline will have a capacity of 350,000 barrels per day by the end of this month.
