Erbil Health Director announced that due to direct contact between doctors and people infected with Coronavirus large number of health personnel were infected with the virus.

Delovan Muhammad, Director General of Erbil Health, today, Wednesday, September 30, 2020, announced that since the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the Kurdistan Region so far, more than 850 doctors and health personnel have been infected with the Coronavirus.

According to the latest statistics of the Kurdistan Regional Ministry of Health, the number of people infected with Coronavirus in Erbil reached 17 thousand and 379 cases, of this number 13 thousand and 846 patients recovered, and 562 people died.
