An Iraqi security delegation arrives in Nineveh to implement the Sinjar agreement

A high-level Iraqi security delegation arrived today in Nineveh to supervise the implementation of the agreement between the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government regarding Sinjar.

Major General Tahseen al-Khafaji, spokesman for the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, today, Wednesday, November 25, 2020, in a press statement, announced that the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Shamari, the Commander of the Federal Police, Lieutenant General Jaafar Battat, the Commander of the Border Guard Command and the Commander of the Land Force, Hamid Shatri, arrived today in the governorate Nineveh to oversee the implementation of the terms of the agreement concluded on Sinjar.

He added that in the coming days, the terms of the agreement on Sinjar will be implemented, according to the recommendations of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
