A delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union visited the European Union representation in Erbil.

The delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union consisted of the official of relations office Muhammad Hawdiani and office members Abdulaziz Harki and Sakina Shekhani, they were received by the official of the Erbil office of the European Union.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed political issues in the region, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region, and they referred to the European Union’s role in developing democracy and human rights.

The official of the European Union in Erbil also appreciated the role of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in civil, societal peace, and democracy.
