The Kurdish political parties in Kirkuk announced, on Saturday, their readiness to run in the legislative elections, at a time when they called for the normalization of the situation in the disputed governorate between Erbil and Baghdad.
This came in a press conference following a meeting of the Kurdish political parties in Kirkuk, which was held today amid the boycott of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the "New Generation" movement.
It is decided that the Kurdish political parties will meet again in order to reach a satisfactory result for all parties to run in the elections with a unified Kurdish list in the province.
