Kurdistan Regional Integrity Commission calls for the formation of a special court to confront corruption in the Kurdistan Region.

Kurdistan Regional Integrity Commission announced in a statement that at the request of the commission, the Kurdistan Region Judicial Council decided to form a criminal court to try those accused of corruption crimes.

The statement added that a "Criminal Court to Confront Corruption" is being formed at the Kurdistan Region level to be devoted to corruption cases.

The statement indicated that the move will have a good effect on confronting corruption and speeding up the settlement of corruption cases in the courts.
