Hoshyar Zebari, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party delegation, and Faleh Fayyad, head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, met at the Authority headquarters and discussed relations between Erbil and Baghdad.

The office of Faleh Fayyad, head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, announced in a statement that Fayyad had received a delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party headed by Hoshyar Zebari.

The statement indicated that the two sides discussed during the meeting the relations between Erbil and Baghdad and ways to consolidate them in accordance with the constitution and the public interest.

The statement added that the two sides affirmed the strengthening of relations between the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Peshmerga forces, especially in combating terrorism and security and intelligence coordination.
