The office of the Iraqi Minister of Health announced that the minister confirms a contract with Pfizer to buy 4 million and 500 thousand doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

The vaccines available in Iraq are AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, and Pfizer, and the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the Kurdistan Region confirm the safety of the three vaccines.

It is expected that Iraq will send the region’s share of the vaccine that it intends to buy from Pfizer.
