A high-level delegation of the United States of America headed by Brett McGurk arrives in Erbil and meets with officials of the Kurdistan Region.

Safin Dzaiy, the official of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government, announced that a high-level delegation of the United States of America headed by Brett McGurk is visiting the Kurdistan Region today, Wednesday, and is meeting with the President of the Kurdistan Region and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region.

It is worth noting that Brett McGurk has not visited the Kurdistan Region since the Kurdistan Region’s referendum in 2017, in the new US administration he holds the position of White House Coordinator for Middle East and North Africa Affairs.
