According to the American CEOWORLD magazine ranking, Iraq is ranked 11th among the arms-procuring countries during the past 5 years.
The magazine published in a report that Saudi Arabia ranks first among 40 arms-procuring countries, as it bought 11% of the weapons sold in the world.
The report added that India ranked second with 9.5% and Egypt with 5.8%, followed by Australia, China, Algeria, South Korea, Qatar, and the UAE, and after them Pakistan.
The report indicated that Iraq ranks 11th with a rate of 2.5 percent, and in general, the percentage of weapons purchases from Middle Eastern countries has increased by 25 percent.
