An official source in the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) told Kurdiu: Unfortunately, some intelligence agencies, pages, and destructive hands have begun to fabricate lies and baseless statements against the KIU, it is a result of the election issue and the reaction of the KIU's positions. It alleged that the Kurdistan Islamic Union received money from the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region.

The Islamic Union strongly rejects these lies and says we have the legal right to take legal action against any page and institution that publishes such lies and misrepresentations.
