Salahuddin Mohammed Bahauddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, issued a message on social networking site X saying "Unfortunately, we have reached a time when salary news is published after 55 days as "good news".

The Secretary-General of the KIU said, “We are always in favor of a legal and peaceful solution to the problems with Baghdad, but it should not be at the expense of the deprived rights of the salaried employees and a circumvention of the Federal Court’s decisions regarding ensuring the rights and entitlements of the employees of the region".

"Yes to the constitutional entity of the Kurdistan Region, yes, to ensure the strength and freedom of the citizens of the country, No, to corruption, injustice, and exploitation of national sentiment for personal and party purposes" he added.
